Roland DG was at Adobe MAX 2019 to show designers, artists, photographers and other creative attendees how to turn their designs and artwork into profitable products with Roland DG technology. This year, we showcased our brand-new VersaUV LEF2-300 flatbed printers in the Adobe booth in the Community Pavilion. We printed on acrylic luggage tags for thousands of eager attendees who wanted a special custom souvenir to take home from the creatively energizing and inspiring Adobe MAX show.

It was quite literally a whirlwind of a show for Roland DG, but thankfully, a tornado couldn’t stop PRINTING United in Dallas from being one of the biggest and most exciting tradeshows we’ve had the pleasure of exhibiting at. Printing UNITED 2019 was very significant for Roland DG. It was a new show, a new venue, and a whole truck-full of new Roland DG products that we were thrilled to present to the world.

The artists at this year’s Imaginarium Artcademy workshop consisted of traditional artists, gallery consultants, multimedia artists, photographers and art educators. They were all excited to get hands-on experience with Roland DG UV technology— focusing on using White and Gloss UV inks as design elements and applying them to artwork as unique textures. Some of the artwork this year was particularly experimental and unique. Read this blog to see some of the stunning results.

Even though this year’s SGIA Expo returned to the familiar Las Vegas Convention Center, for Roland DGA there was an increased buzz around our booth, with a new company mantra, “Built to Build Your Business”. As part of our focus on providing technology, training, service and knowledge to support company success, our rotating stage featured the always popular vehicle wrap demonstrations, alongside a new series of “How I Built My Business” interviews with influential Roland DG end users.

For the third year running, Roland DG teamed up with Adobe for this year’s Adobe MAX 2018 at the “Make it Experience” section of the Community Pavilion where attendees were able to put their photos, designs and messages onto journals to create one of the conferences most highly-prized giveaways.

The Educational Workshop with Technology Educational Concepts event at Roland DG Imagination Center in Wilmington introduced attendees from New England district school departments to the latest Roland DG technology solutions. The four-hour workshop gave department leads, instructors, and administrative staff a detailed view of Roland DG’s ready-to-teach digital fabrication solutions.

Roland DGA at ISA 2018 – Color, Crowds and Customization

Described as one of the busiest and most successful ISA shows of recent years, this year’s ISA Sign Expo in Orlando became the show that the storm couldn’t spoil. Weather conditions in the North East of the US created a lot of problems for attendees trying to get to the show, but despite cancelled flights and travel problems, exhibitors, dealers and visitors turned up in their droves to celebrate all that’s new and inspirational in sign and graphics.
